It had been getting weaker and weaker. I knew it was going to die (which just broke my heart) and finally the third morning after the attack, I found it dead on its back next to the shed where I had seen it the night before. The parent kept coming back with food looking for it even after it had died and I had buried it. This cat is fed and has a home, it killed this wild baby bird for recreational fun and instinct. It caused great distress to the parent( and myself). Cats need to be kept indoors!
