Pele, the goddess of fire, lightning, wind, and volcanoes
It is believed that she lives in Halemaʻumaʻu crater, the summit caldera of Kīlauea, one of the Earth's most active volcanoes. This painting was in the interp center at the National Park's Jaggar Museum.
